Leprino Foods has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor at the Ravenna, Nebraska plant. This position provides leadership and drives organizational and individual growth while striving towards meeting or exceeding manufacturing goals in the areas of quality, cost, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership to the production staff to ensure achievement of the corporate vision and mission while promoting our corporate philosophy and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Manage the Ravenna Plant’s quality program to achieve quality goals as stated in the business plan.
• Manage financial performance to assure that quality products are delivered in an environmentally responsible manner at the least possible cost.
• Advance Leprino Quality activities and processes.

Minimum Qualifications are as follows:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or Science preferred).
• Three to Five years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent. 

• Leadership in a food manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of milk science and cheese manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safe chemical usage and handling.
• Necessary skills to perform needed equipment service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft office with experience in SAP.
• Ability to analyze data from SAP, Kronos, CIMS and Wondeware Active Factory.
