Flashbacks Neighborhood Grille

Picture
This building has a long history. For most of its life, it was used as a billiard/pol hall, liquor store, barber shop and card room. The proprietor during the early years was Joseph Skrable, whose son-in-law, James Macek, operated the barber shop. The business was later run by Macek & Mrky as a retail liquor and tobacco business along with the pool hall and barber shop. Then, for many years, Joe Flesch operated the business and remodeled the building and apartments. The building set empty for many years before Arlen Deines used it as a feed store. In 2007, Craig & Stacie Loeffelholz purchased the building which was being used for storage. After major renovations, the new restaurant was opened in October, 2008, called Flashbacks Neighborhood Grille. The theme of the restaurant is keeping Ravenna's history alive with old newspaper articles and posters depicting important events.
