_Newland Electric was established in June of 1969 by Glen and Marla Newland and Wilbur Newland to sell and repair televisions. In May 1981, the company created NewCabe of Ravenna to provide cable for the city, then in 1982 NewCable of Ansley was created. The principal partners of NewCable of Ravenna and Ansley were Glen and Wilbur Newland and LeRoy Wadzinski. Newland Electric is still run by Glen Newland; Wilbur Newland is now retired.
