RAI of Nebraska has been in business since the purchase of Ravenna Insurance Agency in April 2007. The agency history dates back to 1920 when Albert Skochdopole and Lester Kozel started the venture called Kozel & Skochdopole. In 1959, Eugene Shipp bought the business and added Shipp Real Estate to Skochdopole Insurance Agency. It operated like this for many years and in 1983 the Oliver Family purchased the agency and merged it with Ravenna Insurance Agency.
The agency has two other locations in Shelton and Loup City. They offer services such as real estate and management, appraisals and all lines of insurance coverage. The office operates Monday through Friday with hours from 8 to 5 daily.
The agency is locally owned and operated by Rodney Pokorski and Ann Obermiller of Ravenna. The business currently has seven full-time employees and two part-time. Stop in and visit the staff at any of their locations for your real estate or insurance needs.
