Community Clean Up Day

The Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with students from Ravenna Elementary's HAL class, is hosting a Community Clean Up Day on April 20, 2022 starting at 1:15pm. Residents who would like assistance with clean up projects are urged to sign up on a short form to have a group of students come and assist. City of Ravenna Police Officer Position

The City of Ravenna is currently accepting applications for a fulltime Police Officer.  Requirements include: Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification, preferred but not mandatory; at least 21 years of age; U.S. citizen; valid Nebraska driver’s license; high school diploma or equivalent; good moral character.  No felony convictions, serious misdemeanors, DUI or domestic charges.  Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings. Benefits include health/dental/life insurance, retirement, vacation and paid holidays. Candidates that are currently Nebraska Certified are eligible for a $7,500 hiring incentive. You must reside within Ravenna City Limits within six months of date of hire. Non certified candidates are eligible for a $2,500 hiring incentive. Hourly wage is negotiable.
