City Parks
Ravenna has three beautiful city parks with playground equipment. Underground sprinklers have recently been installed at two of the parks. Facilities located at our parks include:
- Swimming pool
- Splash Pad
- Picnic areas with tables and benches
- Playground equipment at two parks with lots of shade trees
- Sand volleyball courts
- Three ball parks
- Well-lit and paved tennis/basketball courts
- An arena for local tractor pulls and demolition derbies.
The Ravenna Golf Club located on the north edge of town. It offers 9 holes of par 35 golfing on grass greens and watered fairways over rolling hills with beautiful landscaping including a large variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers. The course is open to the public and also offers organized league play. The clubhouse is open every day throughout the season. Swimming Pool
Ravenna’s swimming pool offers swimming for all ages with a wading pool for small children and a graduated depth pool with diving boards, slide, and lifeguards for more experienced swimmers. The pool is located on North Grand Avenue with playground equipment on the grounds and a snack area and vending machines next to the bathhouse. Pool hours are 1 to 5 p.m. daily and evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. The pool is closed when the temperature is below 70 degrees. For further information, call (308) 452-3139.
Splash Pad
The splash pad is located in the VFW Park at 624 Buell Avenue.
City Auditorium
Roller Skating is available at the Bohhning Memorial Auditorium, sponsored by the Ravenna Lions Club, starting in November and continuing through March from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday evenings. Admission is $1 and skate rental is $.50. You may bring your own roller skates or rollerblades. Concessions are also available. For a small fee, the Ravenna Lions Club will host your Roller Skating Parties.

Buffalo County Lake
Activities include picnicking, walking trails, fishing, canoeing and primitive camping.
